Hey There! I’m JoElle.
I’m an artist – based in Michigan – full of endless joy, expression and laughter!
I’m an instinctual curator of the things less noticed – tucking them into little bowls or boxes - presenting them to you in the form of circular shapes, bold or soft colors often layered with words and mark making.
My work tells a mysterious story reflecting a deep curiosity to explore emotions and feelings that are sometimes submerged in the ephemera of life.
I am honored to share my soul, visions and art with you. It is delightful for me to present work that will connect with you in some way.
An Unexpected,
yet Delightful Path!
Integrating life experiences and stories, JoElle’s paintings have a deep, intuitive and energetic movement — created with layers of handwritten thoughts, paint, pastels, markers and everything in between!
JoElle’s path has encountered twists, turns, crises, and curve balls - much like all of us experiencing life, right? Yet she (we) has risen like a phoenix to the surface expressing her soul through art while letting her heart be her guide!
Through all of this — JoElle continues to share her full and honest journey through social media outlets. Joy — burnout — self-care — self-reflection — ALL of it.
What is important for you to know is that JoElle has not given up her need to help others — she is still listening, sharing, healing through her work — just not through the telephone and computer working in healthcare administration.

You can find JoElle on any given weekend visiting her cottage in Kingsville, Ontario, walking the shores of Lake Erie combing the waterline for little bits of lost treasures left to find and tuck away.
